FishingCrafter is an OEM/ODM fishing tackle factory in Weihai City, China. We design and manufacture custom fishing rods and lures for private-label tackle brands, distributors and retailers — with particular depth in the European heavy-freshwater market (wels catfish and carp) and the US bass market. We work at low minimums, we sign your NDA before design files change hands, and we put a physical prototype in your hands in about 4 weeks.
What we make
Rods. Rod platforms from a 5’1″ egi caster to a 12’0″ two-piece catfish rod — thirteen in the current catalogue. Every model is a customizable platform rather than a fixed product: length, carbon grade (IM6 / IM7 / high-modulus), action, reel seat, guide set (FUJI available), handle material, colour, graphics and retail packaging are all built to your specification.
Lures. Soft plastics, hard baits and metal jigs from 2 g to 200 g — paddle-tail swimbaits, crawfish, cicada topwater, sinking minnows, VIBs, inchiku and slow-pitch jigs. We mould in PVC, TPE and silicone, so the compound can be matched to your target species instead of one material being forced across every SKU.
Why brands work with us
Low MOQ . Most factories gate their best tooling behind a 3,000-piece minimum. Our production runs start at 100 pcs per design for rods, and 200pcs for lures with available mould. That is enough to launch a branded SKU, test a market and reorder — without committing to a container.
Your NDA comes first. We sign your non-disclosure agreement before we see your drawings. We never publish a client’s branded design, colour formula or retail packaging — which is why every image on this site shows our unbranded platform, never a customer’s product.
Prototypes in 4 weeks. Once your design is locked, we deliver a physical prototype in about 4 weeks. Our engineers review what you send rather than simply manufacturing it: we’ll tell you where materials, action or buoyancy can be improved — and where they can’t.

Prototype
about 4 weeks from locked design. Rods are cast and load-tested — taper, guide spacing, balance, line rating. Lures are tank-tested for swim action, sink rate and material behaviour. Both are tested against your target species and your water, not just your spec sheet.
Production and shipping
Built to your spec, pre-shipment audited, and packed for long-haul freight — with shipping costs confirmed in the quote before you pay.
